Ariana Grande, who faced a shocking red carpet scare at the Wicked: For Good premiere in Singapore, saw the culprit ultimately deported from the country.

Johnson Wen, aka Pyjama Man, leapt over a security barrier on November 13 and wrapped his arm around the pop superstar before security and co-star Cynthia Erivo stepped in to save the day.

The prankster, who had previously targeted stars like Katy Perry and The Weeknd, was jailed for nine days for being a “public nuisance” and has now been deported, with authorities banning him from ever returning.

Prosecutors called him a “serial intruder” who staged the stunt to go viral on social media.

Undeterred, Wen posted on Instagram after the incident: “@arianagrande @wickedmovie Dear Ariana Grande, Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You ❤️” and later added, “I’m free after being arrested.”

The Outsider actress, praised for her quick reaction, explained on Today: “I just wanted to make sure my friend was safe. You never know with these things.”

The incident also highlighted the deep bond between Ariana and Cynthia.

Speaking at a SAG screening in Los Angeles, the 38-year-old singer reflected on their journey together, saying moments like the Singapore scare have strengthened their friendship.

The 32-year-old Side to Side hitmaker, visibly emotional, nodded in agreement, proving that even in chaos, their bond remains unbreakable.
