Mariah the Scientist, who recently didn’t get the nominations for Grammy reassured her enraged fans that it's okay.
The 28-year-old singer was present at the Give her FlowHERS awards gala on November 21 as she received the bloom award by Femme It Forward.
The event was held to honour the women and their impact in music, fashion and culture.
While attending the award show, the All For Me songstress was asked to talk about the expected nominations that she never received and any message she would like to give her disappointed fans.
She stated, “I know y'all probably really wanted that, I know that you have tried so hard in getting me all of the recognition.”
She continued further as she acknowledged that her fans are upset about her not getting the nominations, but it’s okay, she is vibing, and her tour is sold out so she is still happy and they should be too.
The followers of the American singer also chimed in as they felt relief seeing she is not sad about it.
One fan wrote on X, “i’m glad she’s made peace with it cause i was ready to go to war.”
Another lover also added, “I WAS HURT. But it’s okay we got years to come riah!”
For the unversed, Mariah was expected to receive nominations for her single Burning Blue.
