Ariana Grande backs ex-fiancé Pete Davidson amid her own breakup rumours

Ariana Grande finally breaks silence on Pete Davidson’s baby news, and fans are shocked by her reaction.

The 32-year-old pop superstar has made it clear there’s no bad blood between her and ex-fiancé Davidson.

The Wicked: For Good star has reacted to the comic’s baby announcement with model Elsie Hewitt, and she couldn’t be happier.

For those unfamiliar, the former couple’s whirlwind 2018 romance made headlines around the world, especially after the 32-year-old comedian proposed just weeks into their relationship. 

Unfortunately, their engagement ended four months later, and both have since moved on. 

Davidson went Instagram official with Hewitt in March, later revealing they’re expecting their first child this winter.

Speaking to Heat magazine, the Side to Side hitmaker said, “It’s lovely news. I was, of course, happy when I heard.”

Sources say the singer genuinely believes the SNL star will be a “great dad,” especially given his difficult childhood following the loss of his father in the 9/11 attacks. 

“She thinks becoming a father is exactly what he needs,” an insider told MailOnline.

Meanwhile, Grande’s own love life has been under scrutiny. 

Rumours have been swirling about the state of her relationship with actor Ethan Slater, 33, after the pair were rarely spotted together during Wicked: For Good promo. 

But insiders insist they’re still going strong and just keeping things low-key.

The couple reportedly reunited privately after the London premiere, slipping away from cameras. 

“They’re doing their best to grab quiet moments when no one is watching,” a source told The Sun. 

Despite the pressure, the Zoolander 2 actress and These Untold Secrets actor are said to be planning some much-needed downtime together now that promo has wrapped.
