Ethan Slater leaves Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo behind in one thing

Ethan Slater is dishing on the details from the Wicked films, and the one thing he surpassed his girlfriend Ariana Grande and co-star Cynthia Erivo in.

The SpongeBob Musical star, along with his co-actors had to transform, with hair and makeup for his role in the culturally impactful musical.

In an appearance on the Today show, the 33-year-old revealed, "Even in movie one, for some reason I was in the chair for the longest of anyone,” quipping that he was very particular.

Ethan added that the reason for him having to sit longer for the team to transform him into his character was because it included "a lot of hair extensions. It was my hair but they wanted to make it thicker, fuller, a little brighter, and [add] freckles and all this stuff."

The Gen V actor then gave a shout-out to the makeup artist Zoey Stones for doing an amazing job on his look

Ethan also admitted that the transformation would take place before his call time on set, adding that he had tried different things, like sleeping on his stomach to preserve the hair but to no avail.

Yes, Ethan has a baby boy who was born in August of 2022, whom he shares with his ex wife Lily Jay.
