Abel Tesfaye, known for his famous persona The Weeknd, is already heading towards the end of an era along with his After Hours Til Dawn tour.

The 35-year-old raised eyebrows with a recent move that is being speculated to have a connection with his official “comeback.”

The Blinding Lights hitmaker wiped his entire Instagram account, deleting all the eerie posts and updates, changing his profile picture to black.

Notably, the only thing that remains on the account is the link to his tour which is said to be the last time he performs as The Weeknd.

On the other hand, Abel sparked a debate if this is the right way to rebrand and launch himself in front of his fans.

This was noted by one of the X users who suggested: “I wouldn’t wipe anything, the beauty is how a person changed something in his lifestyle or transitioned from a stage.”

Another was of the opinion that the singer might be releasing a “NEW ALBUM,” while a similar remark was made by fan: “GOAT is coming back with another album.”

When is The Weeknd tour ending?

Previously, Abel extended the musical journey for the next year and is now scheduled to end in September 26, 2026.

In an interview, the Save Your Tears crooner admitted suffering from a mental breakdown due to his alter ego.
