Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that the four-legged star of her latest movie, Die My Love, drove her absolutely mad on set.

The 35-year-old actress, who plays Grace, an isolated mother struggling with postpartum depression, admitted the pooch “annoyed the s*** out of me” during filming.

Her co-star Robert Pattinson, however, defended the dog, saying it was “very nervous” around the Oscar-winner and may have barked constantly because it felt judged.

“It was very upset by how much you were judging it,” he joked.

Jennifer, a self-confessed cat lover, insisted the dog was “sweet,” but noted the script had to be rewritten to accommodate its constant barking.

The production wasn’t just chaotic for the canine cast, as The hunger Games actress  revealed the twins playing her baby were equally tricky, hating their car seats and forcing the crew to recalibrate scenes.

Away from the chaos of filming, Jennifer opened up about her personal struggles with postpartum depression following the birth of her second son earlier this year.

“I was really excited to have another baby… but after he was born I actually got really bad postpartum, which came as a total surprise,” she told The Daily Telegraph.

Cooke Maroney's wife admitted she might have turned down the role had she been in that headspace at the time.
