Cythia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who first met at the set of Wicked, got emotional during an interview as their journey together came to an end.
The actresses have been busy promoting Wicked: For Good, which is set to be released on November 21.
The co-stars were present at the interview named, The Last Interview ft. Sally, as the promotional activities end for the movie.
During the interview, the host asked the pair to look at each other and say how the friendship “changed you for good”.
The 38-year-old hesitant at first that it is a setup gave in and gushed, “It has been the pleasure working with you, and spending time with you. I hope you will be there the rest of my life.”
Ariana started weeping as she replied, “I hope you will be there too, it's been the privilege of my life, I love you.”
Cynthia wiped the tears from the face of the No Tears Left To Cry hit maker as she concluded, “hope you'll let my French be one of the things that you are learning how to let in.”
The dynamic duo has shared a lot of time together and proved how special their bond is for them as Ariana reassured her, “Forever, I am here, call me every manicure.”
For the unversed, although the 32-year-old has addressed that they might be back with part three for the movie, few fans think that it might not be continued.
