Adam Sandler, gearing up for his upcoming movie Jay Kelly, made a heartfelt confession for his beloved wife Jackie on the film’s premiere night.
The 59-year-old actor has proved that true love really does last, revealing that his romance with his wife is stronger than ever.
While speaking to PEOPLE, he said, “We're very close. We like to talk, like to laugh, like to have fun, and like to think about things and take care of our kids.
The Happy Gilmore actor added that he feels more grateful than ever for both his career and his relationship with Jackie.
“I'm just more thankful than I've ever been… My wife and I talk about stuff, what to do next, and it's just been a very cool life,” he explained.
For those unfamiliar, the pair’s love story began on the set of Big Daddy in 1999, where Jackie played a waitress.
The couple tied the knot in Malibu in June 2003 and went on to welcome daughters Sadie in 2006 and Sunny in 2008.
They marked their 20th wedding anniversary in June 2023 with Adam posting a heartfelt Instagram tribute: “My heart has been yours since the first second I saw you and I love and appreciate your devoted soul more and more each day.”
The 51-year-old actress recently starred alongside her husband in Happy Gilmore 2, and the actor admitted their on-screen chemistry remains undeniable, even if it doesn’t always make sense for their characters.
