Jennifer Lawrence reveals her 'worst fear'

Jennifer Lawrence reveals a secret fear she carries in her heart, being an actress, which all industry peers can relate to.

The Hunger Games actress is unable to get rid of her fear of rejection and backlash for her movies from her viewers.

The actress admitted feeling the adrenaline rush and having extremely negative thoughts every time a new movie starring her is about to be released.

“The dread gets worse,” she said. “I’ll work so hard on something, love it so much, and then it comes out and the world goes, ‘Boo! Hate you!’ It’s awful.”

Even after facing the same anxiety every time, Jennifer says she somehow forgets the last scary months before the release every time she starts a new project. “I’m lucky and blessed,” she said, “but those months before release are terrifying.”

She further shared her husband's reaction when the actress shared her feelings around the topic with him.

“He was so confused,” she said. “He kept saying, ‘But the movie’s incredible.’ And I told him, ‘That doesn’t matter. People might not get it.’ And he just said, ‘But they’re wrong,’ like that would fix it.”

Jennifer’s new film Die My Love is currently playing in cinemas.
