Demi Lovato ‘wins’ Halloween with iconic costume

Demi Lovato’s Halloween costume is something no one saw coming, but it has instantly gone viral and become the internet’s favourite look this year.

The Stone Cold singer went viral in 2015, after a fan took a washed out image of the popstar, edited it and posted it on social media.

The internet user added that the woman in the picture was Poot Lovato, Demi’s long-lost twin sister who spent her whole life locked up in a basement.

After the fictional tale made rounds on the internet and the netizens decided to join in on the joke, the figure had haunted the This Is Me singer for years, as Poot has often been mentioned in her comments and has been brought up repeatedly.

As a result of all this, the Camp Rock star embodied 'if you can’t beat them, join them' mindset and took to Instagram to show off her transformation into her fictional twin.

Demi’s caption for the carousel began with her celebrating a week of her ninth studio album It’s Not That Deep and “been so locked in this era thought i’d let pootvato out,” with a lock and a white heart emoji.

The popstar’s husband, Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes wrote in the comments, “Alright Halloween is over everyone. Pack it up. It belongs to demi this year better luck next year.”

Meanwhile another netizen wrote, “Step aside Heidi, Demi just WON Halloween with Pootvato!” with a fire and a white heart emoji, with other internet users agreeing that the look rules Halloween this year.

What has Demi Lovato been diagnosed with?

Demi has been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, and has said that she was relieved upon receiving her diagnosis.
