Jennifer Lawrence, known for her quick wit and unfiltered honesty, has never been one to shy away from awkward questions, and her latest confession proves it.
The 35-year-old actress, famed for her powerful performances in films like The Hunger Games, Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle, has once again shown she isn’t afraid to speak her mind.
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show on Thursday, the Die My Love star revealed that she “absolutely” grilled her co-star Robert Pattinson about one of Hollywood’s most infamous scandals.
She admitted that she asked him about his 2012 breakup with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, as well as the bizarre moment when Donald Trump publicly weighed in on their relationship.
“I mean, if you think I didn’t ask him about Donald Trump tweeting about the breakup with Kristen…” Lawrence laughed.
“It was, like, three days after the photos came out. Young people make mistakes — and Trump just went on this massive rant!”
At the time, the future U.S. president bizarrely tweeted, “Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again — just watch.”
For those unfamiliar, Pattinson and Stewart began dating in 2009 but split for good in 2013 after a brief reconciliation.
Now, both stars have long moved on as The Batman actor is engaged to actress Suki Waterhouse, with whom he shares a baby daughter, while the Snow White and the Huntsman actress recently married her longtime love, screenwriter Dylan Meyer, in Los Angeles.
