Madonna recently shared pictures of her son, David Banda, on social media to celebrate his 20th birthday.
On 24 September, the Queen of Pop took to Instagram to wish her third child, whom she adopted from Malawi in 2008, a happy birthday.
The best-selling female music artist, recognised by the Guinness World Records, wrote a heartfelt caption for her son: “Happy Birthday @senzacacona!! There is nothing that you cannot do.”
She went on to reminisce about the day she first met the one-year-old, claiming she knew from that moment he was destined for greatness: “Running around with no diapers, drinking Coca-Cola out of a baby bottle. Gangster!!!”
The photos posted by the Into the Groove artist captured different phases of the now 20-year-old’s life.
Previously, the seven-time Grammy Award winner spoke about her special bond with David, saying, “I feel like he gets me, he has more of my DNA than any of my children so far.”
Notably, during her Celebration Tour in 2023–2024, Madonna was joined on stage by her beloved son, who performed as a guitarist and vocalist for the song Mother and Father.
He was often seen wearing matching outfits with his mother for several performances.
For the unversed, she has six children: two biological, Lourdes Leon, 28, and Rocco Ritchie, 25, and four adopted, David, 20, Mercy, 19, and twins Stella and Estere, 13.
