The 77th Emmy Awards are upon us, with some of your favourite TV shows and celebrities in the nomination list, whether it's The Pitt or your comfort show, The Studio.
This year, the Emmy Awards have been holding everyone’s breath as audiences are hoping for their favourite shows to win.
The star-studded ceremony will honour the best TV from June 2024 to May 2025, with 25 awards across drama, comedy, limited series, and talk shows, celebrating outstanding achievements in acting, writing, directing, and more.
The 2025 Emmy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 14, at 8:00 p.m.
The audience can watch it on CBS. Paramount+ Premium subscribers can stream the ceremony live, while Paramount+ Essential subscribers will be able to watch it the following day.
PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly will be broadcasting live from the red carpet on YouTube starting at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT.
Moreover, Entertainment Tonight’s coverage, ET: Live on the Emmys Red Carpet, will start at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount+.
E! News will also cover the red carpet, and Live From E!: 2025 Emmys will begin at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT.
For the first time ever, comedian Nate Bargatze is hosting the awards show.
Known for his three Netflix specials, he’s also in the running for two Emmys this year with Your Friend, Bargatze, competing in the Outstanding Variety Special and Best Writing categories.
Speaking with The Wrap, Bargatze promised his self-deprecating humour will be just as sharp as any joke aimed at the crowd. “I want to feel different,” he explained. “If we talk about them, I want to do it in a way that hasn’t been done.”
CBS’s schedule lists the 2025 Emmy Awards for a three-hour broadcast, airing from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET.
