The 21-year-old is the son of Alessandro Nivola and Emily Mortimer, who are well known in Hollywood.
Despite having famous successful parents, the young artist has claimed that he has done everything on his own.
“Other than my genes, I don’t think I can attribute much of my success to my parents. I feel proud that I’ve done it for myself, and sometimes in spite of them”, Sam told Variety.
Sam claimed that he did not ask his father’s agent to make calls for him, he did it all by himself.
