Aimee Lou Wood gives BTS from upcoming film The Idiots

BAFTA-winning actress Aimee Lou Wood has given a peek into her upcoming film The Idiots with a post on Instagram.

On Sunday, July 13, the actress shared a photo carousel featuring The White Lotus star wearing period clothing, giving cottagecore vibes.

Aimee portrays the writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky's second wife, Anna.

The star tagged the movie's director, Małgorzata Szumowska, and her co-star, Michał Englert, with the caption, “Move over Hollywood, it's POLlywood time.”

The caption referred to the shooting location in Poland for the motion picture adaptation of The Gambler Wife by Andrew D. Kaufman.

Aimee made an abrupt gesture in one snap, jokingly, while wearing a light blue Victorian-style gown and hat.

Another snap shows the actress enjoying a coffee in the outfit, her hair styled in a long side plait.

Although the film’s production was first announced in February 2022, there hadn’t been any first-look images or glimpses shared until now.

Moreover, the release date for The Idiots has not been scheduled yet.
