Adam Levine, who is notable for being the lead vocalist of Maroon 5, finally made a decision to stop himself from going through any pain.
As the 46-year-old singer and his band are gearing up for their comeback album, Adam unveiled his upcoming plans.
Although the Girls Like You hitmaker admitted tattooing his body is “fun,” he has gone through enough pain for the art.
During his interview with Today.com, the singer called himself “psychotic” for covering up his “sleeve with another sleeve.” He questioned: “Who does that? What is wrong with me?”
Adam shared that the entire procedure of getting his skin tatted “really hurt[s],” forcing him to ultimately stop.
According to the Animals crooner, he has “softened” now which is the reason it “hurts so badly.”
While he was initially indecisive, Adam revealed that “true love” across his finger is his favourite from all the designs.
Previously, the Moves Like Jagger hitmaker called his hands “sacred,” maintaining that he cannot ink his body below waist.
The conversation comes ahead of the pop rock band’s most anticipated album Love is Like, which is slated to release on August 15.
The lead vocalist gushed about the new tracks: “I’m really excited about it. An album is coming over the summer, non-specifically around the summertime.”
The band also announced their North American tour in relation to their new record which is scheduled to kickstart in October.
