Kanye West and Sean “Diddy” Combs have had an interesting friendship throughout the years, and even though the two did not always see eye to eye, the duo seems to have gotten closer in recent months.
The Saint Pablo singer had even recorded a call with the Bad Boy Records founder from jail before his highly publicised sex trafficking trial began, with a motive in mind.
Kanye used the voice recording without the I’ll Be Missing You singer’s permission on a track called Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine, and the duo might be gearing up for more.
A source who frequently collaborates with the controversial rapper spilled to Page Six, “Music was a salvation for him, Diddy, like it was for Ye. Diddy’s looking to make amends. I think a song would be the best way to communicate a change.”
“Ye is brave enough to touch a hot [rod like] Diddy right now. I don’t think any other artists would,” the insider added, which is not too difficult to believe, since the 24-time Grammy winner has consistently marked his support for Diddy.
Since the Mo Money Mo Problems rapper’s verdict has acquitted him of major charges, his availability for a possible partnership is higher than before.
Diddy and Kanye West share a strong bond as the Yeezy owner has called the imprisoned musician his inspiration for hip-hop. Despite indulging in a feud in 2022, they rekindled their severed bond.
