Nicki Minaj reveals reason of delaying motherhood in a recent chat
Nicki Minaj opened up recently in an interview to share some heartfelt thoughts.
In conversation with Vogue Italia, the 42-year-old Minaj confessed about quitting her music journey several times.
The Queen of rap explained, "I've heard every possible criticism about me. I've thought about quitting so many times.”
“I'm glad I didn't. I hope my story can be an inspiration, and push kids, adults, anyone, not to give up,” she continued.
In 2010, the widely recognized songwriter made her breakthrough with her album Pink Friday and song Super Bass. Since then she has made notable contributions in the music industry.
In another part of the interview, the Trinidadian songwriter disclosed that due to her career and family responsibilities, she took her decision of becoming a mother on hold.
The Alone songwriter noted, "As a woman, I put off becoming a mother. A lot of women in the industry, especially older than me, never had children."
For the unversed, the Good Form singer shares his 4-years-old son with her partner Kenneth 'Zoo' Petty whose name she hasn't revealed yet.
To wrap things up, she added, it varies from person to person perspectives, for some people it's not a big deal but for some it is, but I chose to wait for my turn.
