Justin Bieber makes rare public appearance amid Diddy controversy

Justin Bieber made an unexpected public appearance by leaning on his wife Hailey Bieber for support.

The couple was spotted at an ice hockey game in Toronto, Canada, on Sunday, with him looking especially lean.

As the Toronto Maple Leafs faced the Florida Panthers in Game 7 of the NHL Eastern Conference Semifinals, the 31-year-old was supporting his team.

When the pop sensation finally spoke out about fan concerns that his former mentor Sean "Diddy" Combs may have mistreated him, he highlighted the gauntness of his face by smiling broadly in pictures with his model wife.

However, fans described a video that surfaced last year, showing Diddy and the singer, who was underage at the time, spending 48 hours together while working on an album as disturbing.

The Sorry hitmaker said in a statement on Thursday that the rapper-turned-mogul had never singled him out for abuse.

Moreover, photos shared to the National Hockey League’s Instagram account showed Justin sitting in the front row at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, putting an arm around Hailey and grinning broadly.
