Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s so-called "secret summit" with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz may not have been what it first seemed.

Initial reports suggested the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had invited Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, to their Montecito mansion for a cozy dinner where they bonded over their respective family rifts.

However, insiders have now revealed that the event wasn’t even hosted by Harry and Meghan, and their interaction with the Beckhams was minimal at best.

According to The Daily Mail, the dinner was actually organized by Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy, not the Sussexes.

The couple reportedly hosted over 20 guests, including the Sussexes, at their Montecito estate, and Brooklyn and Nicola’s invite came directly from Brian, not Harry or Meghan.

A source explained: "David Beckham’s production company sold the football show 'Beckham & Friends Live' to Paramount, so Brooklyn's invite likely came because of his dad's project, not because of any close ties with Harry."

In fact, insiders added that while Harry and Meghan were at the same table as Brooklyn and Nicola at points, their conversation was “limited” and the couple’s reported bonding was blown out of proportion.

Why did Harry and Meghan fall out with the Beckhams?

The gathering also reignited interest in Harry and Meghan’s previous falling out with David and Victoria Beckham, despite the Beckhams attending the Sussexes' 2018 royal wedding.

Meghan allegedly suspected Victoria of leaking private stories to the press, which strained relations between the two power couples.
