Miley Cyrus is reportedly getting real about her relationship experiences.
On Friday May, 9, Miley dropped her latest song More to Lose along with a simple monochrome video clip.
The music video follows the theme of dying relationships, echoing the song's chorus: "I stay / When the ecstasy is far away / And I pray / That it's comin' 'round again,"
Cyrus, 32, sings the chorus, "And you say it / But I wish it wasn't true, oh / I knew someday that one would have to choose / I just thought we had more to lose."
The video starts with the Flowers singer in a bold outfit probably from her album Something Beautiful cover, singing straight to the camera.
The clip then shifts from the Angels Like You singer in a sparkly strapless gown to an edgy all-black look with a Batman inspired headpiece.
As reported by Daily Mail, fans are wondering that the song refers to her former partner Liam Hemsworth, but the We Can't Stop hitmaker hasn't acknowledged it yet.
In a preview, the songwriter unveiled the main goal for her song More to Lose is to bring genuine emotions, while prioritizing authenticity over highly fabricated sound.
