Keith Urban attended the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards where he received the highly sought after Triple Crown Award.
The tribute to the singer began with Megan Moroney performing a short rendition of Stupid Boy while Chris Stapleton did a cover of Blue Ain’t Your Color.
The tribute ended with the Brothers Osborne performing the 1999 track Where the Blacktop Ends, which Urban ended up joining in on before accepting the award.
The singer made sure to thank the performers who took part in the tribute, the academy for choosing him, and finally his wife, Nicole Kidman.
"My wife, Nicole Mary, is here tonight. I love you, babygirl. And our girls Sunday and Faith watching at home tonight, I love you both, too," he said, referring to their teenage daughters.
Urban added, "I have a massive team that I couldn't possibly thank by name, but I want to thank my team for working so insanely hard behind the scenes, 'cause there's no such thing as a self-made man. I wanna thank my road band and my road family. And I wanna say a special thanks to all the fans that have been coming out to see us play. I really appreciate it."
He concluded his speech by mentioning his upcoming tour with Blake Shelton that will kick off later this month.
