Nicole Kidman, an American-Australian actress and producer, sat down for an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert where she revealed that she owns a prized possession.
After Colbert asked her if she had ever asked anyone for their autograph, she responded, “Well, I’ve asked people to sign a copy of a book. Philip Roth and Elton John. That was because we bought lyrics of ‘Your Song’.”
The 1970s track had been written by Bernie Taupin and John, and the Babygirl star refused to reveal where she keeps it when asked by the host.
Your Song was also utilized in her 2001 film Moulin Rouge!, being performed by her fellow co-stars Ewan McGregor and Alessandro Safina in the flick.
Kidman and her husband, musician Keith Urban went on to perform their own version of the hit track. The former shared the video to Instagram, where Urban could be seen playing the piano as they sang, “It’s a little bit funny/This feeling inside/I’m not one of those who can/Easily hide.”
“A little backstage moment before heading to Monterey @KeithUrban,” she had written in the caption.
The producer also revealed that the first ever concert that she had gone to had been an AC/DC show, "And then second was [David] Bowie," she added.
