Two royal powerhouses, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, just had major back-to-back moments on the TIME100 stage.
On May 8, Kate Middleton was honoured on TIME’s 2025 TIME100 Health list, joining the ranks of the world’s most influential health figures.
The Princess of Wales, 43, was praised for her raw and candid cancer diagnosis reveal, which TIME said smashed the royal rulebook on medical secrecy.
Kate was recognized in the "Catalyst" category, applauded for her decision to step back from royal duties to focus on recovery, something TIME says reignited global conversations around self-care, early-onset cancers, and mental well-being.
“She became a beacon for cancer patients,” the magazine noted, citing her heartfelt video message: “To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey, I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness can come light.”
Her appearance on the list comes just two weeks after Meghan Markle took the TIME100 Summit stage in NYC.
At the April 23 event, Meghan, 43, dished on her new ventures: the Netflix series With Love, Meghan, her lifestyle brand As Ever, and the podcast Confessions of a Female Founder.
The Duchess got personal about family life with Prince Harry and their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, saying: “To have a partner and a husband who is so supportive, and healthy kids who are so joyful... I really do feel so grateful.”
