Meghan Markle makes desperate plea to Jennifer Aniston to save failing podcast

Meghan Markle is calling in Hollywood reinforcements in an attempt to desperately save her brand.

After receiving scathing reviews for the debut episode of her new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, the Duchess of Sussex is reportedly “reaching out” to A-listers, and topping the list is her new Montecito neighbour, Jennifer Aniston.

The Friends icon, 56, recently snapped up an £11.5 million Mediterranean-style farmhouse in the elite California enclave, just minutes from Meghan and Prince Harry’s lavish estate. The home was previously owned by none other than Oprah Winfrey.

A Hollywood insider spilled, per Express: “Meghan is hoping Jen will be there for her – as soon as possible – as a guest. Meghan knows she needs a major A-list name to bounce back fast after such a mixed start.”

Though Meghan and Jen have only crossed paths briefly, Aniston once told a US magazine she has “a ton of empathy” for the Duchess, a sentiment Meghan is clearly hoping to cash in on.

“As well as Jen, I understand Meghan is also reaching out to other A-list friends and contacts,” the insider added. The Duchess is eyeing Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Kerry Washington, Priyanka Chopra, Serena Williams, Katy Perry, and even Kevin Costner for potential appearances," the source added.
