Toni Braxton, Birdman’s relationship details exposed after divorce dismissal

Toni Braxton and Birdman’s on-again off-again relationship has new updates, with the pair’s divorce coming to light with additional shocking details.

The couple got married on August 8 and the period of marital bliss proved to be temporary, two weeks to be exact, as Braxton filed for divorce from the American rapper in documents obtained by TMZ.

The report, along with the rest of the details stunned fans, who were not aware of the duo’s marriage to begin with.

The outlet claims that Birdman, whose real name is Bryan Christopher Williams, married the Just Be A Man About It singer in a secret ceremony, and have been together for eight months as they later dismissed the initial filing in January of 2025.

The Un-Break My Heart singer and the face of Cash Money Records had confirmed their engagement on Toni’s family’s hit WeTV reality show Braxton Family Values.

“I’m engaged!” she had enthusiastically exclaimed to her sisters while showing off her yellow diamond ring, given to her by the 56-year-old record producer.

The perplexing couple then called off their engagement soon after, with Birdman simply writing “It’s over” for an Instagram story caption in 2019.

The current relationship status of the two music industry icons is still up for debate, however, as Toni’s social media posts do not feature Bryan, whom she has previously denied getting married to.
