Meghan Markle's brand-new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder just dropped — and so did the reviews.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, launched the highly anticipated series with Lemonada Media on Monday, but UK critics wasted no time delivering a scathing takedown, calling the show everything from “stomach-turning” to straight-up “insane.”

Meghan’s debut episode features Whitney Wolfe Herd, founder of Bumble, and includes personal revelations like Meghan’s struggle with post-partum pre-eclampsia after one of her pregnancies — something she says the world never knew.

While the Duchess opens up in what’s meant to be a vulnerable and empowering conversation, critics didn’t hold back.

The Telegraph gave the show just 2 stars, branding it “an inane stream of mindless aphorisms” and filled with “mutual adoration.”

The Guardian’s review also handed it 2 stars, calling the episode “stomach-turning” and saying it’s “a bit much.” Ouch.

The Times was even harsher with a 1-star rating, accusing Meghan of turning the show into a “self-love research exercise.”

The new podcast follows hot on the heels of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, and her sell-out lifestyle brand As Ever — both of which have faced their own wave of praise and criticism.

What is Meghan Markle's new podcast about?

Meghan Markle's new podcast focuses on thought-provoking conversations, social issues, and personal storytelling—similar to her previous podcast Archetypes, which explored gender stereotypes and how they shape women's lives.

The new show is likely to align with Lemonada Media’s focus on socially conscious and narrative-driven content. Given Meghan’s previous interests, it includes discussions about women’s empowerment, mental health, and media representation.
