Will Smith, who is seemingly trying to win back his lost reputation, turned a blind eye to criticism as he continues to celebrate a huge milestone of his acting career.

The 56-year-old star celebrated 30-year anniversary of his first Bad Boys movie by sharing a joint Instagram post with his co-star Martin Lawrence which consisted of several sneak peeks from the first instalment of the hit franchise.

Will revealed the origin of the 1990s movie as he wrote: “30 years ago @jerrybruckheimer, Don Simpson and @michaelbay took a chance on us and Bad Boy was born!!”

The pictures featured Martin who smiled at the Men in Black star. He also added photos of the filmmaker Michael Bay and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

The Hitch star expressed his gratitude: “Grateful for all the love y’all have shown us through the years,” seemingly ignoring the backlash he received after marking his return to the music industry.

The Academy Award winner launched his new album Based On A True Story after staying away from the studio for nearly a decade.

However, Will was slammed by critics for creating music that “stinks” as he is too old for “today’s hip-hop crowd.” This came after his song failed to make it to the Top 100 on the Billboard charts, as dished by Radar Online.

Although the American actor was once leading the Hollywood industry, he faced a major setback after he went on the 2022 Oscars stage to slap comedian Chris Rock.
