Yella Beezy is a free man… for now.

The rapper faces serious charges in an alleged murder-for-hire scheme related to the death of fellow Dallas rapper Mo3.

Mo3, real name Melvin Noble, was fatally shot after being chased on foot by his murderer in November 2020.

According to court documents, Beezy is accused of offering a cash reward to Kewon White to commit the crime and was arrested in Dallas on March 20.

The 33-year-old was booked into Dallas County Jail and his bond was listed at $2 million.

However, the bond was reduced to $750,000 after a bond reduction hearing on Thursday with Beezy being released on Friday.

It is important to note that under Texas bail bond laws, a defendant can pay 10% of the bail amount to a bail bond company and the company covers the remaining amount through an agreement.

The latest arrest adds to Beezy’s troubled legal history as he was also arrested three times in 2021 for separate charges.

The That's On Me artist was also hospitalised in 2018 after being shot in Lewisville, Texas.
