Bradley Cooper’s upcoming movie, Is This Thing On, is getting on New Yorkers' nerves amid filming.
A source informed Page Six that the movie, starring Laura Dern and Will Arnett, alongside Bradley, 50, is not impressing the locals in the neighbourhood of Douglaston, in Queens, New York.
The residents complained that the noise created from the film is endless, but the scenes being filmed after midnight are the ones that are most upsetting as they are accompanied by loud generators.
The disruptions have also impacted the occupant’s pet, as they complained of their dog barking nonstop due to the roadblocks and crew traffic.
The source angrily retold an instance of the crew instructing them to avoid walking the dog, saying, “This lady stops me and [says], ‘Can you wait?’ No! I’ve had it with you.”
This hassle is new to the people of Douglaston, who have previously experienced other movies being shot in their surroundings.
The site has regularly been featured on the big screen, with movies such as Rabbit Hole, American Gangster, and Run All Night all involving cameos of the district.
Notably, the versatile actor is helming the new film with several duties. The A Star is Born leading man has confirmed a small acting gig in the film, in addition to being its producer and cinematographer.
