Playboi Carti drops release date for ‘I Am Music’

Playboi Carti, an American rapper, has finally given a release date for his highly anticipated project, I Am Music.

Taking to his Instagram page, he revealed that the album is set to come out on Friday, March 14.

The rapper has been actively promoting the project for months, previewing it at Rolling Loud Miami in December 2024, and putting up several billboards promoting the release. He also confirmed earlier this week that the project was completed.

Although there are no guest features on the album, it could feature production work from Kanye West, Travis Scott, Mike Dean and Metro Boomin, among others.

This will be Carti’s first album in five years since the release of the hugely successful, Whole Lotta Red in 2020.

Carti’s last album was the chart topping Whole Lotta Red which came out in 2020, with him having not released any full length projects since then.
