A heartwarming video of Princess Kate has resurfaced from 2019, giving fans a rare glimpse into what she loves most about being a royal.
In the clip, filmed during a royal engagement in Northern Ireland, Kate, often affectionately called "The Children's Princess", was seen having a sweet interaction with a young fan, nine-year-old Hannah Ritchie.
When asked, "What do you like about being a princess?", Kate had a touching response.
"Meeting special kiddies like you. I meet lots of different people, it's really...it's really great," the Princess of Wales said with a warm smile.
She added, "I love working with young people. Everyone's so brave and strong in some of the places we go meet. It's very nice to meet you."
Kate has long been passionate about children’s development, making it a central focus of her royal work.
Through her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, she has worked to support children’s well-being while also ensuring that her own three children—Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6—are raised with a sense of normalcy.
In a recent Channel 5 documentary, Prince George: How to Make a Monarch, royal correspondent India McTaggart emphasized how Kate’s upbringing has influenced the way she raises her children.
"She has brought so much from her Middleton upbringing and her family values, that I think has completely informed the way that she is raising the next generation of royals."
