Emily Blunt is pausing her work commitments to catch up on her personal life.

During an appearance on the Table for Two podcast, the Quiet Place actress revealed she is taking a break from acting to focus on her family.

Blunt, who shares two children: Hazel, 9, and Violet, 7, with husband John Krasinski, is set to star in an anticipated blockbuster film Oppenheimer alongside Cillian Murphy.

"This year, I'm not working," she affirmed during the podcast. "I worked quite a bit last year and my oldest baby is nine, so we're in the last year of single digits."

It’s unclear how long the actress is into her break, however, she did dish out how she is looking to spend it. "I just feel [like] there are cornerstones to their day that are so important when they're little," Blunt expressed.

"And it's, 'Will you wake me up? Will you take me to school? Will you pick me up? Will you put me to bed?' And I just need to be there for all of them for a good stretch. And I just felt that in my bones."

Blunt is not the first celebrity to desire some time away from the spotlight after a streak of projects. Last month, Tom Holland also announced that he will be going AWOL following the release of his AppleTV+ series, The Crowded Room.

Confessing that the show "broke" him, the Marvel actor tried laying off steam during a week off in Mexico after filming, however, he shortly realized he needed more time.

"I disappeared, I went to Mexico for a week and had some time on a beach and lay low," he told ExtraTV. "And I’m now taking a year off, and that is a result of how difficult this show was."
