Amanda Bynes was allegedly 'off her meds' before public psychiatric episode

Amanda Bynes had allegedly been skipping her medication before being placed on a psychiatric hold over the weekend.

Speaking to Page Six, the actress’ ex-fiancé, Paul Michael claimed: “She got off her meds, and she’s still off her meds. She’s wild.”

TMZ reported on Monday that Bynes has had a psychiatric episode after she was spotted roaming naked around the streets of Los Angeles.

An eyewitness claimed that the She’s the Man star waved down a car and told them so.

The 36-year-old actress called 911 by herself and was taken to the police station where the mental health team advised her to be placed on a 5150 hold.

Prior to the disturbing event, Bynes had a history of mental health illness, including suffering from bipolar disorder as well as substance abuse.

She was also placed under the conservatorship of her mother, Lynn, back in 2013.

In 2022, it was reported that the couple had called it off and Bynes publicly accused her ex of “taking his medications,” and kicked him out of her house after she caught Michael watching “MILF” porn.

Despite the sour history, Michael claimed to the outlet that they are “friends now.”
