‘Stranger Things: Tales From ’85’: First look at animated spinoff

Netflix has officially dropped the first teaser for Stranger Things: Tales from ’85, an upcoming animated spinoff of the wildly popular sci-fi saga.

The announcement comes right on time for Stranger Things Day, a date fans know all too well as the day Will Byers mysteriously vanished in Hawkins, Indiana, back on November 6, 1983. 

To mark the occasion, the streamer treated viewers to a sneak peek and confirmed the voices behind the animated versions of the beloved characters.

Leading the cast, Brooklyn Davey Norstedt will do the voice for Eleven, joined by Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Ej (Elisha) Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will, and Brett Gipson as Hopper. Rounding out the ensemble are Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo, and Lou Diamond Phillips in undisclosed roles.

The animated adventure is set to release on Netflix in 2026.
