‘The Summer Hikaru Died’ anime to return for season 2

Anime series The Summer Hikaru Died has officially been announced to be returning for a new season.

Available on Netflix and CruchyRoll, it is an adaptation of the manga from Mokumokuren.

The news was announced with a new video, however, the time of its return was not confirmed.

The anime has been hugely popular with viewers, with some concerned about how long it will take for season 2, considering there is no new manga material to adapt.
