Shakira, Jennifer Lopez’s Super Bowl Halftime Show receives four nods for Emmys 2020

Shakira and Jennifer Lopez have received four Emmys 2020 nominations for the Super Bowl LIV HT show in different categories.

Nominations for 2020 Emmys were announced on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
Jennifer and Shakira’s Super Bowl LIV Halftime: Show has received four nominations in different categories including Outstanding Variety Special (Live), Directing For A Variety Special, Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For a Variety Special and Music Direction.

Shakira and Jennifer turned to Instagram and confirmed the nominations.
The Waka Waka singer while sharing a photo with Jennifer from their Super Bowl halftime show performance, that received major praise, wrote, “I just heard from @JLo that we have four #Emmys nominations for the Super Bowl LIV HT show!”

She further said, “That’s amazing. Thank you @TelevisionAcad and everyone who made this possible.”

Jennifer shared an Instagram story where she confirmed the nominations.
