Priyanka Chopra celebrates her 20-year journey with UNICEF

Priyanka Chopra is all up for ‘girl power.’

The actress is a proud partner with UNICEF, supporting female empowerment for over two decades now. Every now and then, the Baywatch star actively shares her journey to mend the world into caring about young females.

This time around, the Bollywood actress shared her latest endeavors in India. In an Instagram video, Priyanka gave her fans a glimpse into the life of an average girl child in the country.

“We are not on this earth alone and if you can have a positive, meaningful impact on even one life, then you will become part of the solution and not the problem,” beautifully penned Priyanka alongside the video.

The Quantico famed star wrote a thought-provoking message for all her followers, making them aware of the kinds of problems that arise when women are suppressed.

“I’ve had the privilege of helping @unicef do just that as their Goodwill Ambassador. As I look back on my 20 year journey, I can truly say that this has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” she continued.

Before signing off, the star gave her fans an important reminder to value young females by standing up for their rights as human beings.
