A royal staffer used to steal things from royal residence: report

As per BBC, Queen’s catering assistant Adamo Canto admitted that he stole many items from the royal residence and then sold them on eBay.

Canto was found guilty in total three theft that took place in November 2019 and August 2020 at Westminister Magistrates’ Court. Police found the stolen items at Canto’s quarter.

The 37-year-old servant stole many items including signed official pictures of Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry.

The staffer from North Yorkshire stole medals as well, including Johnstone-Burt’s medal and commander of royal Victorian order medal belonging to Maj General Richard Sykes.

It was learned that he took more than 77 items from Royal Residence including pieces from Prince Andrew’s storeroom and Queen’s Gallery shop.

Prosecutor Simon Maughan informed the court the items that were stolen and were put for sale on eBay totaled to $13,000-$135,000. Court learned that Adamo earned $10,000 from eBay.
