Death row convict Julius Jones’ family hopeful after Kim Kardashian’s visit

Recently, Kim Kardashian visited Oklahoma death row convict Julius Jones, her visit gave hope to Jones’. However, Attorney General Mike Hunter condemned the visit.

Julius Jones was only 19-year-old was he was imprisoned for committing first-degree murder of 45-year-old white man Paul Howell in the year 1999.

Kim is working hard to prove Julius’ innocence and has been openly speaking about it. Moreover, she is studying to become a lawyer.

Jones’ family and supporters are now hopeful that justice will be served after Kim’s visit. They are hoping that his sentence will be commuted.

As per TMZ, the credit for tenfold increase in traffic on Julius' campaign website goes to the mother-of-four.

However, Mike Hunter who is Oklahoma Attorney General was not happy with Kardashian’s visit. “Celebrity endorsements and biased documentaries cannot erase the facts of the case that overwhelmingly prove Julius Jones killed Paul Howell in cold blood,” Mike told TMZ.

“Jones had his day in court and has exhausted his appeals at every level. He committed this horrific crime and now must serve the sentence a jury of his peers deemed appropriate. I encourage those advocating for Jones, including Mrs. Kardashian West, to research the case and read the summary of the transcript on our website” AG added.

Jones’ family argues that he was framed in a racial case and he is innocent, last year, the death row inmate filed an appeal for clemency and now he is waiting for the final verdict from Governor.
