America’s sweetheart Kamala Harris is out on a shopping spree.
Vice president-elect Kamala Harris, and her husband, Doug Emhoff, recently promoted small businesses on the streets of Washington DC. The couple made sure to take care of all the SOPs as they strolled from one shop to another, glancing at the merchandise.
According to media, Harris and Emhoff spent about 25 minutes visiting booths in the market. The couple also bought puzzles from the New York Puzzle Company and a print of different types of cheeses from Marcella Kriebel Art and Illustration.
As Harris walked with her husband, a number of people extended “congratulations,” to the future Vice President.
Proud husband Emhoff stopped at a stall to pose with his wife as he held a shirt reading, ‘Madam Vice President’. Harris gleamed with joy while her husband gushed over his favorite girl.
“We want to support our small businesses they are always really an essential part of the lifeblood of the community, part of the civic and social fabric of the community,” announced Harris while talking to the media.
