The Weekend vs Grammys: The musician will not rest until he gets answers

The Weekend is not done retaliating against his exclusion from Grammy nominations.

The musician is furious and demands answers. The feud began right after the Grammy Awards announced its list of artists who made it to 2020’s nominations.

The Weekend, who was heartbroken for not making it to the list constructed a passive-aggressive tweet for the Recording Academy, calling it ‘corrupt’ for not recognizing his talents.

“Collaboratively planning a performance for weeks to not being invited? In my opinion zero nominations = you’re not invited!” The Weekend tweeted.

The Call Out My Name singer compared not being nominated to Grammys with not being invited to virtual events. The tweet, which was posted on Wednesday, has reached 105,000 engagements as of now.

Fans of the singer are fully supporting his stance. One of them wrote: “You deserve a nomination more than Taylor. She did nothing exceptional this year.”

Even after delivering exceptional music pieces like Heartless and Blinding Lights, the vocalist is heartbroken over album After Hours not making it to the Grammys nomination list.

For those who don't know, The Weekend is already a three-time Grammy winner and this time around was hoping to receive his fourth.
