Shia LaBeouf is currently facing new legal trouble months after an alleged Mardi Gras dispute in New Orleans.
In the latest turn of events, the actor is now formally accused of three counts of minor battery charges by the Orleans Parish District Attorney.
People magazine reported that the charges were reportedly filed on Thursday, May 21, following an incident outside a bar in February involving two men.
As reported by NOLA.com, police claimed the Honey Boy actor was “reportedly causing a disturbance and becoming increasingly aggressive” before the situation escalated.
Meanwhile, the video footage obtained by TMZ from the scene allegedly showed the Transformers star taking off his shirt and approaching the men while shouting,
“Let’s fight, let’s fight,” in addition, one of the individuals accused the actor of using homophobic slurs during the confrontation.
Following the incident, the former child star was arrested and later appeared in court, where his bail was set at $100,000.
Additionally, the court ordered him to enter substance abuse treatment and undergo drug testing.
Just days later, he was reportedly arrested again after authorities issued another warrant tied to an additional minor charge connected to the same case.
