James Charles claps back at critics for trolling TikTok star Charli D’Amelio

James Charles defended Charli D’Amelio after she received backlash for the viral ‘Dinner at the D’Amelios’ clip.

The famous YouTuber was also part of Charli’s video, but now both Charli and her sister Dixie D’Amelio are receiving criticism for passing rude remarks during the clip for the food made by their chef Aaron May.

The 21-year-old make-up artist supported the TikTok star on Twitter. “This Charli situation is NOT sitting right with me. 100M followers in one year & y’all expect her to know how to be a perfect role model? Death threats because she’s a picky eater & made a joke about a milestone? 30+ year olds dragging someone half their age? Feels familiar,” he tweeted.

Charli’s elder sister Dixie even vomited the food made by Aaron May. She then wrote on TikTok that the food was not good so she spat it out.

The 16-year old got slammed by many users on social media as she was being ungrateful for having 95 million followers. She complained about it in the video.

James jokingly responded to her and said “95 million not enough for you?”
