Chadwick Boseman's wife demands his $938,500 estate after actor's death

Two months after his death, late Chadwick Boseman's widow Taylor Simone Ledward has come forth demanding his estate.

According to sources, the actor's wife has appealed to the courts to make her an administrator to the late husband's property.

Ledward, who filed a probate case in Los Angeles on October 15, expects to claim Boseman’s property with limited authority.

The filing documents noted that the actor died "intestate." The term is used when a person dies without a will. The estimated value of the Black Panther star's estate is listed in court documents as $938,500.

Boseman died at the age of 43, after a fierce battle with colon cancer. The news was announced on his social media accounts post demise.

"It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman," read the socials.

"Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much."

The actor passed away at home with his wife and family by his side.
