Noah Schnapp fools internet with mystery partner post

Noah Schnapp was making headlines this week, as he shared about a one-month anniversary with a partner he did not know.

The following day, as the discussion spiced up he cleared it straight with an Instagram Story that said April fools.

The 21-year-old Stranger Things actor, who came out as gay publicly in January 2023, posted a photo on Instagram.

The image showed the two hugging each other with a caption of "one month of us."

Out of the joke, Schnapp has been candid that the role of Will Byers, a gay character on the Netflix series, made him better comprehend himself.

He informed Variety that the sight of crowds of people embracing the character made him comfortable with himself not only in modesty but also as a human being. 

He said that he used to feel like the weird kid on the other end as a growing boy but that character portrayal helped him come to terms with the fact that he was different.

By the time he eventually emerged to his friends and family after 18 years, he remembered their response as being so simple and humorous, "We know."

He publicly came out in TikTok and was supported immensely, "I was crying. I was like, 'I made it. I'm done. I don't have to worry,'" he recollected.
