Lili Reinhart recalls shocking filming remark that raises eyebrows

Lili Reinhart is opening up about an on-set comment she once received that she still hasn’t forgotten.

The Riverdale actress, in a recent interview with her Forbidden Fruits co-stars Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, and Alexandra Shipp, talked about a memorable acting note from her past.

She recalled a male director quietly telling her, “When I had a male director come up to me and silently lean over and go, 'Just suck in your stomach a little bit.'”

The co-stars reacted instantly, Pedretti responded in surprise, asking, “Oh my God. What is his name?” while Shipp added, “Say his name!”

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old star has previously spoken about body image pressures in the industry.

In 2023, she highlighted the lack of “average-sized arms” in media and how it has affected her own self image.

Produced by Diablo Cody, Forbidden Fruits stars Lili Reinhart alongside Tung, Pedretti, and Shipp as a group of Dallas saleswomen who form a coven in a clothing store basement.
