Sharon Stone has recently slammed on-screen intimate scenes in the modern era.

The Basic Instinct alum discusses her infamous scene in the movie that intrigued everyone.

Sharon was in conversation with Gayle King who talked about her movie, Basic Instinct, where she filmed a sexual scene, leaving behind mystery for the audience.

It was a third of a frame,” said the 68-year-old.

The Casino actress went on saying, “It wasn’t even an entire frame of film.”

Therefore, Sharon mentioned that people were “desperately trying to figure it out and I think that that idea of ‘oh my god,’ this hope, this wonder, this mystery, this intrigue, this yearning is something that is what all of our profound sexuality is based in”.

Looking at the explicit scenes at present, the Total Recall actress admitted that when “sex scenes come on TV — I fast-forward”.

I don’t want to see it. I don’t want to have to go through all of this blatant, harsh sexuality,” explained Sharon.

The Nobody 2 actress noted that it “steals from my own imagination. And I prefer my yearning, mystery, desire.”

“I want to keep that alive inside myself,” added Sharon.
