Jensen Ackles is revealing how he truly felt about his Supernatural cast mates Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins joining the cast of The Boys.
The actor hopped on to the series (both of which are helmed by Eric Kripke) in season 3, playing the character of Soldier Boy after the drama in which he played Dean Winchester ended in 2020.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 48-year-old stated that he felt hesitant about them becoming a part of the series because wanted them to do well, since they share a close bond together.
Ackles said, “We spent, you know, almost two decades together and we still see each other, we still do, you know, conventions together, and we still talk, you know, quite often. And I mean, we’re kind of friends for life,” referring to Padalecki and Collins.
The actor added that watching the two filming their scenes in The Boys was like “watching your son go up to bat for the first time.”
Ackles also remarked that their scenes together were disgusting and outrageous, noting that their involvement wasn’t shocking since they are all a part of Kripke’s universe.
