Eva Longoria reflects on working with Kim Kardashian in ‘The Fifth Wheel’

Eva Longoria has recently reflected on working with Kim Kardashian in her upcoming R-rated female comedy, The Fifth Wheel.

The Desperate Housewives star describes the reality star as “the anchor of the movie,” because Kim also serves as a producer in the latest movie.

While speaking to PEOPLE, Eva says that the American Horror Story actress is “the anchor of the movie. We just had a blast”.

Given that Kim and Eva have been friends for 25 years, the All’s Fair actress was happy when the 51-year-old got the direction job.

Eva reveals that Kim “is quite funny,” which is why, she cannot wait for the world to see “how great she is in this movie and hopefully spark more female comedies”.

Elsewhere in the interview, the director talks about working on the Netflix movie, stating, “It’s so much fun.”

“We just wrapped after three months of filming. We ended in Vegas. It was a dream job,” she remarks.

Eva also explains that the forthcoming movie is “unapologetically R-rated female comedy that feels modern and contemporary”.

Meanwhile, the actress-director adds that the movie is special because it had “female writers, producers, cast and a female director”.
